Problem

Some mail agents can inspect inboxes, but they still need a safer way to batch-read mail without send capability. outlook-hack targets read-only office automation: fetching, searching, and exporting mail across folders, indexing attachments, and producing readable summaries.

How It Works

It uses the Microsoft Graph API as the mail backend instead of scraping the Outlook web app. The main flow is:
- Extract an MSAL refresh token from the Microsoft Teams tab and exchange it for a Graph API access token;
- Use the Graph API to read, search, and bulk-fetch mail, plus access calendar events and contacts;
- Emit raw-emails.jsonl, attachments-index.jsonl, and email-summary.md with sender, subject, body preview, attachment index, and digest stats.

The script is explicitly send-blocked: it has no send, reply, or forward functions and can only create drafts in the Drafts folder. That makes it more suitable for inbox triage, attachment inventory, and digest generation.

Limits and Caveats

Token extraction should come from the Teams tab; New Outlook PoP tokens are hard to extract, and Classic Outlook is largely deprecated.
Refresh tokens last about 90 days and auto-rotate on use; access tokens last about one hour.
It fits read-only mail processing, drafts, summaries, attachment indexes, and calendar/contact lookups, not outbound email delivery.
