Problem

Drafting announcements, disclosures, official documents, and contracts often means checking template fields, clause completeness, amount consistency, date logic, legal citations, and formatting at the same time. Manual review can miss mandatory clauses, misread “disagree” as positive, confuse percentages as interest rates or penalties, or misalign clause keys during comparison.

How It Works

The skill turns generation, search, parsing, review, and library management into local, script-driven workflows:

Template generation: select a template by institution and document type, collect fields, output Markdown, and export Word/PDF
Deterministic review: check completeness, logic, formatting, and compliance, including uppercase/lowercase amount mismatches, date conflicts, legal citation style, sensitive words, and AI-generation traces
Contract support: contract templates, conversational field extraction in chat_generate_contract.py, rule-based audit in audit_contract.py, clause comparison in contract_diff.py, and six-dimension risk analysis
Document parsing: local parsing for PDF, images, Word, and compressed archives, with OCR-style parsing as an optional path
Optional enhancements: local LLMs are used only for semantic review and template suggestions, while MX_APIKEY and OPENAI_API_KEY are only needed for user-enabled cloud search or vision features

Boundaries

The default core flow does not require keys or LLMs and fits local drafting assistance and rule-based review. Cloud search, vision, and public-source retrieval depend on network access or external services. Outputs remain assistance material; significant contracts and disclosures should be finalized by legal, compliance, or authorized reviewers.
