Problem

In bidding packages, reviewers often need clean screenshots of named employees from social security payment PDFs. Manual paging, cropping, and boxing is slow and can miss pages, clip adjacent rows, or include unrelated fields. This skill focuses on batch document processing: it finds each requested name, isolates the corresponding information line, and exports a marked PNG suitable for bid materials.

How It Works and Limits

It parses page text and text-block coordinates, matches each name exactly, locates the name block, expands vertically to capture the same information row, and computes a minimal bounding box. The page is then rendered at roughly 300dpi, a red rectangle is drawn over the target area, and the image is saved as Name_social_security.png. If one person appears on multiple pages, output uses Name_social_security_page_N.png.

Defaults assume common social security PDF layouts. Sensitive parameters include margin_x_right, margin_y_expand, line_width, and dpi. It works best when names match exactly, text is selectable, and the layout is regular. It is not intended for scanned images, inconsistent names, split rows across pages, or complex table extraction.
