Problem

Excel process calculation sheets often mix VBA logic, cross-sheet references, case parameters, and standard formulas. Turning them directly into web pages can hide formula misalignment, unit errors, guessed thresholds, and missed sheets. This skill targets HTML conversion of process engineering calculation sheets, not plain table export, but a runnable, traceable, and verifiable single-file app.

How it works

Source validation: checks magnitude, unit conversion, standard formulas, and constant provenance; suspicious cases pause and ask for the Excel source to be fixed rather than silently overriding logic in HTML.
Cell-level mapping: builds a table mapping Excel cells, formulas, actual operating cases, and HTML variables, especially normal, design, and mixed-case references.
Calculation and UI conversion: rewrites VBA functions into JavaScript, validates formulas and computed values with openpyxl dual modes, and outputs single-file HTML with embedded CSS and JS, light/dark themes, live calculation, charts, and export.

Boundaries

Best for calculation sheets with clear formulas and verifiable sources. If the source Excel contains logic errors, missing standard citations, or needs original-file edits, fix the inputs first. It does not replace formula review or repair the original spreadsheet.
