Problem Context

DingTalk daily and weekly reports depend on enterprise app credentials, template structure, user IDs, and content arrays. Calling the API manually can lead to repeated trial and error around AppKey, template IDs, contents, and pagination, especially when the user only says “send my daily report” or “check my weekly reports.”

How It Works

The skill wraps DingTalk log management in reusable Node scripts: get-template.js fetches template IDs and field lists, create-report.js creates and sends a report, query-report.js lists reports, and search-user.js resolves a display name to an employee ID. Report content is passed as a JSON array with sort, key, and content, where content can use Markdown. After querying, results can be presented by creation time, update time, content, and creator, then summarized across task completion, efficiency, planning, initiative, and coordination.

Boundaries

This is for DingTalk enterprise internal apps and requires AppKey/AppSecret plus the needed API permissions. Supported templates are limited to “Daily Report” and “Weekly Report,” and query ranges should not exceed 180 days. If multiple users match a name, ask the user to confirm the employee ID. For network or permission errors, check configuration before retrying.
