About this skill

Problem

When drafting daily reports, weekly reports, proposals, plans, or summaries, the bottleneck is often not missing content but unstable structure: each round requires deciding how many sections to use, what belongs in each section, and which fields must be filled later. This skill turns a document type into a structured template, establishing the skeleton first and leaving placeholders for authors or agents to complete.

How It Works

Core capabilities cover four template types:

  • Report templates: supports daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and special-topic reports
  • Proposal templates: takes a proposal topic and outputs the document structure
  • Plan templates: takes a planning goal and outputs a work-plan template
  • Summary templates: takes a summary scope and outputs a summary-document template

The output is standard Markdown with placeholder prompts that describe what each section should contain. It also exposes JSON-normalized structures so agents can read fields, complete values step by step, or generate downstream content.

Boundaries

It is suited to document skeletons and field structure, not to reading existing documents, inferring complete prose, or replacing business judgment. If the requested document type falls outside reports, proposals, plans, and summaries, additional prompts are needed. Generated templates still require human review of terminology, scope, and approval flow.

Use Cases

  • Set up weekly report sections for progress, risks, and next-week plans before writing content.
  • Create a proposal skeleton with background, goals, scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
  • Draft a project plan structure with milestones, tasks, owners, and deadlines.
  • Generate a quarterly summary template separating results, issues, root causes, and next actions.

Best For

  • Project engineers who need weekly or monthly reports with a fixed structure.
  • Product managers who must fill proposal sections before launch review.
  • Project managers who need planning goals split into milestones and task tables.
  • Ops or team leads responsible for quarterly reviews and special-topic summaries.
