About this skill

Problem

Meeting notes often end up scattered: unclear context before the meeting, weak structure during it, and unresolved follow-ups afterward. The Smart Meeting Assistant turns meeting text or Tencent Meeting data into actionable artifacts: agendas, participant briefs, efficiency analysis, action items, retrospectives, weekly and monthly reports, and a decision board.

Core capabilities and workflow

  • Dual modes: it first tries Tencent Meeting mode by calling tools such as convert_timestamp and get_meeting_by_code; if that fails, it degrades to standalone mode and accepts pasted text or .txt, .md, and .json files.
  • Before the meeting: generate_agenda.py produces structured or quick agendas, while participant_brief.py summarizes participant background.
  • During and after the meeting: analyze_efficiency.py checks speaking balance, topic coverage, and decision output; extract_todos.py separates explicit and ambiguous action items; generate_report.py produces retrospectives, weekly reports, and project materials.
  • Cross-meeting tracking: cross_meeting_link.py follows prior decisions and repeated topics for questions like “what happened after last time?”

Limits

A single meeting should ideally be under 3 hours and 30 participants, and cross-meeting tracking under 10 meetings. Standalone mode cannot pull Tencent Meeting transcripts, participant history, or weekly and monthly report data. Action-item accuracy depends on wording clarity, so important follow-ups should be reviewed manually.

Use Cases

  • Draft an agenda from topic, duration, and meeting type before a meeting.
  • Extract explicit and ambiguous action items from a meeting transcript.
  • Track past decisions, repeated topics, and project retrospectives across meetings.
  • Structure an interview transcript into Q&A notes, skill assessment, and summary.

Best For

  • Project managers who need to turn review-meeting transcripts into action items and retrospectives.
  • Team leads who need to track past decisions across multiple meetings.
  • Operations leads who need weekly or monthly report drafts from meeting outcomes.
  • Hiring managers who need to structure interview notes into skill assessments.
