It helps reduce the gap between hearing a phrase and being able to respond.
How It Works
The skill starts from the learner's goal: target dialect, purpose, and current level, then organizes phrases by daily, work, romance, or food contexts. Each item focuses on pronunciation hints, tone notes, cultural context, and usage taboos, and explains slang so learners can judge whether an expression fits strangers, elders, or close relationships. It can also compare the same sentence across dialects. Output prioritizes high-frequency content: core words first, then full sentences and natural humor.
Boundaries
This is a text-based learning framework. It does not play real pronunciation, process audio, handle live translation, or transcribe speech. Coverage is mainly standard major dialect regions; local accents may differ significantly. It is not suitable for highly localized village dialects, long dialect texts, or academic dialectology. Pair it with audio/video resources and start with short high-frequency phrases.
