When you have several DSH conversations open at once, approval requests, model questions, and choice prompts tend to land in the tab you are not watching. Once that tab goes to sleep, JavaScript pauses, the approval card freezes, and by the time you switch back a precious stretch of time has slipped away. dsh-attention exists to close that gap: no matter which window or monitor you are on, the moment DSH needs your input you get an actionable reminder right there.

Notifications are fired by the DSH host itself rather than through the browser Notification API, so even a frozen tab still triggers a pop-up. A compact custom card appears in the bottom-right corner where you can allow or deny a privilege request, pick single or multiple options, type a custom answer in the Other field, and submit with a single click so the conversation picks up seamlessly. The card inherits your current light or dark theme with a frosted-glass look and a countdown bar that shifts from green to red. It defaults to the focused monitor's corner and falls back to the primary display when no focus is detected; while your DSH tab is in the foreground it stays completely quiet. If a tab has been hidden for roughly eight seconds, returning to it triggers a silent refresh that re-surfaces any still-pending approval cards, and the refresh is skipped if you are mid-typing.

It is built for developers who juggle multiple DSH sessions and drift between windows constantly, as well as teams running several DSH instances in parallel who need to hop back to the exact conversation. All settings persist in a local JSON file under three collapsible groups (Scope, Appearance, Sleep Wake-up) and survive restarts. Keep in mind that custom cards and system notifications currently require Windows 10 or later; on other platforms the settings page and the sleep-wake-up refresh remain fully available.
