When working with multiple ChatGPT/Codex subscription accounts inside DeepSeek Harness, dsh-codex-shared-pool brings local multi-account management into a single settings panel: each account completes its own OAuth flow independently, with no auth.json copying required. Before every request, the plugin reads the upstream quota for the selected model; if the current account has confirmed zero remaining, it routes to the next available account with the earliest reset time, without letting an exhausted account fail first and retry.

The core experience centres on three pillars: a multi-account pool with an at-a-glance quota overview; Chinese model-mode selection that mirrors the Codex client (Standard / Fast and five reasoning tiers); and a transparent, metadata-only request trail (account alias, model, selection reason, status — no prompts, tokens, or session content stored). All existing capabilities including Codex Responses, Search, image generation, read_image, and TUI administration are preserved; the install patch mounts the plugin and does not alter your default model or provider.

A good fit for developers and small teams who rely on Codex subscriptions in DSH and want quota-aware automatic routing, traceable account switching, and complementary multi-account capacity, rather than manually swapping auth.json or tolerating fail-then-retry behaviour. The Phase 2 roadmap adds invite-based team sharing and self-hosted deployment so member quotas become poolable and routing stays centralised.
