About this skill

Problem

Research workflows often get stuck because financial data is scattered: stock trends, fund NAVs, announcements, research reports, financials, and macro indicators require manual reconciliation of scope, time ranges, and parameters. This skill turns natural-language requests into executable financial data queries.

How It Works

It works against Investoday financial data endpoints covering A-shares, HK stocks, funds, indexes, quotes, financials, announcements, research reports, news, and macro data. The workflow first classifies intent: price action, financials and valuation, announcements and research, funds and ETFs, sectors and industry chains, or data export. If the endpoint is unclear, it lists groups or searches by keyword; if parameters are unclear, it reads endpoint documentation and examples before calling. Vague terms such as “recent”, “stronger”, or “catalyst” are interpreted as reasonable time windows, relative performance, and available announcement/report/news scope rather than guessed field names.

Boundaries

It does not provide buy/sell advice, place orders, or handle non-financial operations data. Required identifiers such as stock code, fund code, market, or time range must be clarified. When an endpoint returns no data, the response should note permissions, time range, or coverage limits, not invent conclusions.

Use Cases

  • A research engineer checks recent price action, liquidity, and relative performance for an A-share and exports structured data.
  • A researcher compares financial metrics, valuation levels, and cash flow across listed companies for research notes.
  • A fund analyst queries fund NAV, ETF performance, index constituents, and fund results.
  • A strategy analyst reviews CPI, PPI, PMI, interest rates, and other macro data for market analysis.

Best For

  • Research data engineers who need to convert natural-language queries into reusable financial API calls.
  • Securities or fund researchers who need to quickly verify stocks, announcements, research reports, and financials.
  • Quant analysts who need structured quotes, financials, and macro data for downstream analysis.
  • Market strategy analysts who need macro indicators, sector momentum, and industry-chain information.
