About this skill
Problem
Formatted articles often stall before publishing: titles, digests, body content, and covers must be copied into the WeChat Official Account dashboard, then checked one by one. This skill targets the repetitive local HTML to WeChat draft import workflow, without publishing directly.
How It Works
It uses a Node.js script with Playwright to control a browser. The script verifies the HTML file and cover, extracts the title, digest, body, and cover reference, then opens the dashboard and waits for QR login. Body injection tries contenteditable first, then scans iframe elements, and falls back to manual paste. Cover upload, injection, or login timeout may pause or exit to prevent accidental changes.
Boundaries
- Good for engineers or operators with stable HTML templates and repeated draft generation.
- Not for unlogged automation, direct publishing, frequently changing page structures, or strict headless-only environments.
- Note the author field may have a default value, and missing covers may require manual selection.
