About this skill

Automating Periodic Reports for Production Line Data

Production, quality, warehouse, and procurement teams often keep operational metrics in Excel or CSV files. Writing daily, weekly, or monthly reports still requires manual extraction, exception checks, period-specific framing, and copy-paste into WeCom, which is easy to get wrong. ReportNew-产线报道 targets these structured tables and turns them into concise group-ready reports.

From Spreadsheet to Four-Section Report

  • Data input: Supports .xlsx, .xls, and .csv files, with multi-file merging available; screenshot data can first be converted through an OCR skill.
  • Domain detection and metric computation: run.py infers the business domain from template arguments, title keywords, or column signatures, such as production, quality, warehouse, procurement, and finance, then outputs JSON metrics.
  • AI report writing: The model reads the JSON and generates a fixed four-section report, shifting emphasis from same-day exceptions in dailies to trends in weeklies and direction in monthlies.
  • WeCom delivery: push_wecom.py sends the title and body to a WeCom work group; without a configured delivery endpoint, it only outputs the report locally.

Boundaries and Caveats

This skill fits operational tables with clear column names and metric definitions, but not open-ended document analysis or scenarios requiring multi-step human decisions. The WeCom card has a byte limit, so the body must stay concise; if column names are ambiguous, manually setting the domain template may be needed to avoid misdetected metrics.

Use Cases

  • A production supervisor sends daily capacity spreadsheets to the AI, generates exception-focused daily reports, and pushes them to WeCom.
  • A quality team aggregates weekly defect CSV data and generates weekly reports focused on unresolved issues.
  • A warehouse manager uploads monthly inventory turnover tables and generates structural monthly analysis with resourcing recommendations.
  • A general affairs office merges multiple department progress tables and generates a cross-department project progress weekly report.

Best For

  • Shop-floor team leaders reporting production exceptions who need to turn capacity and abnormal-hour tables into daily reports.
  • Quality engineers syncing metrics to WeCom who need to convert defect and complaint tables into weekly reports.
  • General affairs assistants consolidating cross-department progress who need to merge project, quality, and cost tables into monthly reports.
  • Warehouse supervisors managing inventory data who need to generate monthly analysis from turnover and obsolete-stock tables.
