Deck Studio Engine

Problem

Many PPT generators can produce a file, but the result still needs cleanup: content reads like pasted material, the narrative has no through-line, charts and pages do not match, brand themes drift, and rendering is hard to audit. This skill reframes deck production as a staged, reviewable pipeline.

Workflow

The engine moves through five gated stages:

• DeepScout: turns a one-line request into research_briefing.md, capturing topic, audience, and scenario.
• Architect: extracts a soul sentence, builds a MECE narrative skeleton, and assigns an information goal to each page.
• Visual Director: selects visual archetypes, layouts, charts, and themes, producing visual_blueprint.md.
• SlideWright: runs pre-render compliance checks, uses a deterministic rendering path, and can render pages in parallel with caching to create deck.pptx.
• Compass: reviews logic, data, and visual consistency, routing failures back to the responsible stage.

Fit and Limits

It is best for consulting reports, fundraising BP decks, product launches, and policy briefs where structure and traceable data matter. On Windows, watch ProcessPoolExecutor guarding and file encoding; output quality still depends on input material, theme fit, and preset alignment.
