About this skill

Problem

Early Chinese VC pitch decks often have the raw inputs, but the proof points are misordered: team, data, moats, and use of funds are scattered across slides, making it hard for investors to confirm certainty in 2-4 minutes. This skill reframes the BP as a fundraising argument for the Chinese VC context: decide the stage, choose page count and key evidence, then draft module copy.

How It Works

It works from an early-stage investor perspective and covers seed / angel, Pre-A / A, B, and C+ rounds. Key steps include:
- 8 required questions: capture market, data, team, policy, and funding use in one pass.
- Deck-type judgment: choose a 10-25 page structure and emphasis by round.
- 12 modules: cover, problem / opportunity, solution, business model, TAM/SAM/SOM, metrics, competition, moat, roadmap, team, financial forecast, and funding plan.
- VC preference fit: adjust emphasis on team, data, industry position, or exit path based on investor style.

Boundaries

It is useful for strategy, module copy, and investor-style review. It does not replace financial audit, legal due diligence, or PPTX generation. Users must supply all data, disclose policy risks, and avoid invented market sizes or inflated milestones.

Use Cases

  • Before a Pre-A round, order team, core metrics, and unit economics into a pitch deck structure
  • Adjust team, data, and growth emphasis for investor-specific VC review
  • Review a draft deck for weak moats, unsourced market size, and unrealistic forecasts
  • Write proactive disclosure for policy, cross-border data, or industry regulation risks

Best For

  • Seed or Pre-A founders preparing a China VC-ready first draft of a pitch deck
  • CEOs or COOs checking team, metrics, and use-of-funds clarity before a roadshow
  • Early-stage FAs or investment associates reviewing modules by round and investor preference
  • Founders in regulated sectors documenting policy risks for investor due diligence
