How It Works

• Ten quantified indicators: THI, DCI, YBI, HRI, TXI, QXI, SSI, LWI, ZSI, and WBI are scored with evidence; negative values lean toward deficiency, cold, or insufficiency, while positive values lean toward excess, heat, or surplus.
• Pathogenesis and primary/secondary patterns: It links tongue signs, symptoms, patterns, pathogenesis, and organ-level mechanisms, distinguishing the main pattern from secondary ones.
• Classical prescription adaptation: Formulas should trace back to classics such as Shanghan Lun and Jinkui Yaolüe, with reasons for each addition, reduction, contraindication, and alternative.
• Trend judgment: Follow-up compares continuous direction over repeated readings rather than a single score.
• Safety review: It applies correction rules for strong warming herbs, mixed cold-heat presentations, and costly herbal substitutions, while assigning P0/P1/P2 risk levels.
