About this skill
Problem
Personal injury compensation calculations often stall because case facts are incomplete, standards differ by region, and statistical baselines are hard to verify. Missing fields such as disability grade, lost-work period, nursing period, dependent count, or regional wage data can easily lead to incorrect totals. This skill treats the task as a calculation workflow: it derives line items from user facts, CLI results, and local references, rather than retrieving statutes or case law.
How It Works
The skill first extracts key facts by case branch, including incident date, court location, victim age, disability or death branch, income, and nursing costs. If required fields are missing, it asks only for the missing items and does not assume amounts, regions, disability grades, or statistical years.
It then discovers available backend MCP calculation commands through npx @delilegal/deli-cli@latest and organizes parameters according to the CLI guide.
Typical output includes:
- Case summary: region, dates, age, branch, and statistical year.
- Calculation standards: urban/rural baseline, wage standard, and data source.
- Line items: base amount, days, years, coefficients, and totals.
- Sources and risks: CLI fields, local legal indexes, and warnings for missing data, appraisal gaps, or discretionary damages.
Boundaries
This skill is useful for turning existing case materials into a reviewable calculation trail. It does not replace legal judgment, and it should not force disputed or discretionary items—such as liability ratio, care dependency, or disability grade—into fixed conclusions. If the CLI is unavailable or data is incomplete, the result should remain marked as pending verification.
Use Cases
- Assemble disability grade, lost-work period, and regional standards into compensation line items
- Generate medical, nursing, and dependent-support fee tables from receipts and appraisal opinions
- Review AI output by checking urban standards, statistical year, and data source labels
- When case facts are missing, ask only for missing fields instead of assuming amounts
Best For
- Personal injury lawyers: organize facts and produce reviewable compensation breakdowns
- Legal assistants: summarize receipts, appraisals, and regional standards into calculation tables
- Legal and compliance staff: verify bases, durations, and data sources for compensation items
- Case analysts: check whether disability and dependent branches have missing fields
