Problem
Financial regulatory provisions often contain long sentences, enumerated items, formulas, duties, and procedural language. Quoting the raw text does not produce a compact clause index that can be searched, clustered, or compared. Engineering teams building compliance knowledge bases need short labels that preserve legal requirements without losing material elements.
How It Works
The skill is aimed at Chinese financial regulatory texts and applies sentence-type compression rules for legislative purpose, scope, definitions, duties and obligations, prohibitions, conditional consequences, enumerated clauses, formula-based standards, and effective-date clauses. It keeps the core subject, action, and object, while removing framework words, intensifiers, and citations such as according to or in accordance with. Duty-based clauses are usually reduced to verb phrases, for example establish liquidity risk management system. Definition or indicator clauses are reduced to noun phrases, such as definition of liquidity risk or LCR indicator standard. For multi-paragraph provisions or complex lists, it may produce a primary keyword plus two to three backup keywords to cover the main duty and important sub-items.
Boundary
The output is a 7-16 character legal keyword, not formal legal advice, a summary, or a translation. For very long provisions, multi-party obligations, or detailed calculation rules, the keyword may preserve the main structure while omitting edge conditions. Users should still review the source text to confirm scope, exceptions, and applicable standards.
