About this skill
Problem It Solves
In weak-current, security, intelligent-building, machine-room, and structured-cabling projects, a bid decision often needs three missing answers: whether to bid, what comparable awards cost, and who is likely to compete. Reading only the announcement can miss the buyer’s repeat supplier pattern, competition concentration, and historical award price, leading to aggressive or uncompetitive pricing.
How It Works
The skill takes a tender announcement as input and runs a five-step analysis through the Zhiliao Bidding API:
- Parse the target: extract budget, scope, qualification gates, and key dates;
- Buyer profile: review the client’s historical awards and supplier relationships;
- Competition forecast: identify likely bidders and their prior award history;
- Price benchmark: summarize comparable project values to form a suggested price band;
- Fit check: compare the user’s past performance against the competitive field.
The report leads with the conclusion, treats missing values as data gaps, and expects all amounts, counts, and company names to come from API responses. A full report typically uses 12-25 calls, while a lightweight check uses 5-8 calls. Generated HTML reports preserve original API-provided links and include a citation appendix.
Boundaries
Use it for project-specific bid/no-bid decisions, not for generic announcement search, company lookup, or ongoing monitoring. Wording must remain descriptive based on public data, avoiding accusations about real enterprises or public agencies. Respect API call budgets, balance limits, and exact link output requirements.
Use Cases
- Review a campus surveillance tender and decide whether to bid, including a suggested price band.
- Check a client’s past low-voltage awards and frequent integrators before submitting a bid.
- Benchmark comparable intelligent-building award prices to calibrate a pricing range.
- Identify likely bidders for a data-center project and compare their prior award history.
Best For
- Low-voltage bid owners: quickly decide whether to bid and prepare pricing references.
- Security sales managers: check the buyer’s past suppliers and competitive intensity before bidding.
- Intelligent-building solution managers: use comparable award prices to calibrate proposal pricing.
- Bid specialists: compile tender, competition, price, and history into a shareable decision report.
