Equity and M&A Investment Risk Assessment

Problem

Investment reviews often label risks in vague terms: funding pressure, uncertain licenses, exit difficulty. The harder task is to pull comparable risk points from feasibility reports, due diligence memos, contracts, and financial materials, then decide how severe and how likely they are. This skill focuses on equity (including M&A), fixed-asset, heating, and fund projects, turning scattered judgment into a repeatable checklist.

Workflow

The skill first confirms project type and industry context, then loads the relevant risk lists:
- Equity/M&A projects use equity_risks.md
- Fixed-asset projects add general risks
- Heating and fund projects load specialized lists

Each matched risk is scored with scoring.md: impact I and likelihood P are rated 1–5, combined as I × P. Scores ≥15 are major, 6–14 are significant, and ≤5 are routine. The output table includes risk description, scoring basis, mitigation options, and sorting by severity, followed by a go/no-go recommendation.

Limits

It is best suited to file-based project review, such as feasibility reports, business plans, due diligence reports, and contract text. When key data is missing, the skill marks items as “to confirm” or uses conservative scoring instead of inventing facts.
