What It Solves

The final step of an AI short drama is often not “no clips,” but engineering the handoff between clips: xfade transitions, subtitles burn-in, amix voiceover mixing, BGM levels, 9:16 framing, and placeholder asset replacement can cause repeated rework. Professional editors are heavy, while online tools may depend on the cloud and are hard to edit offline. aladin-drama-edit treats existing AI drama assets as input and turns editing into a local, offline, editable FFmpeg project.

How It Works

• Inputs: required prompts.json, optional .srt/.ass subtitles, voiceover manifest, --music BGM, and --out directory.
• Core capabilities: generates edit_timeline.json, ffmpeg_run.sh, ffmpeg_run.bat, with default scale 1080x1920, clips[] timeline, transitions, subtitles, voiceover, and BGM mixing.
• Key steps: build the timeline, generate multi-platform FFmpeg scripts, emit edit_board.html and edit_manifest.md, then run edit_review.py for a red/yellow/green self-check, and optionally persist edit_presets.json or emit publish_handoff.json.
• Boundaries: it does not render video, generate video clips, subtitle text, or voiceover audio, publish to the cloud, or verify asset licensing; it only generates command text, so users must replace placeholder paths and install ffmpeg before rendering.
