About this skill

The Problem

Chinese brand naming often stalls between "does it sound right, can it be used, and what do I do next." This skill targets local Chinese contexts such as products, stores, companies, and accounts, turning vague requests into an executable workflow instead of a list of slogan-style candidates.

How It Works

It first classifies the task: create from scratch, revise a draft, generate a checklist, explain concepts, compare options, or diagnose a review. Then it proceeds through:

  • Positioning: use 3-6 questions to fill in audience, goal, existing materials, platform, city, industry, and timing constraints.
  • Word roots and directions: break inputs into structured fields and produce reusable naming directions instead of vague phrases like "keep optimizing" or "push harder."
  • Slogan and execution: add boundary conditions, common pitfalls, and next steps so copy fits environments such as WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk, WPS, Taobao, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu.
  • Risk checks: provide a self-check checklist and review metrics, flagging uncertainty and high-risk judgments.

Boundaries

It does not guarantee trademark registrability and does not replace the official trademark search system. For legal, medical, financial, government, or visa-related matters, it should prompt reliance on official information or professional advice; if the request involves false advertising, forged credentials, or evading rules, provide a compliant alternative instead.

Use Cases

  • Generate 30 Chinese store names, 5 naming directions, a slogan, and trademark search reminders for a specialty coffee shop.
  • Revise an existing store name, account name, and selling-point draft into a localized version for Taobao, Douyin, or Xiaohongshu.
  • Compare multiple Chinese naming directions for a company or product and output a reusable slogan with a risk-check checklist.
  • Diagnose whether existing brand copy is vague or carries false-advertising risk, then provide the next revision steps.

Best For

  • Consumer brand founders who need to name a specialty coffee store and produce a slogan plus trademark search reminders.
  • E-commerce operators who need to localize store names, account names, and selling-point copy for Taobao or Douyin.
  • Startup marketing leads who need to compare company naming directions and output risk checklists with self-check items.
  • Content and account operators who need to name a WeChat Official Account or Xiaohongshu account and build a risk-avoidance checklist.
