What It Solves

Meitu CLI capabilities can be spread across multiple command paths, making it hard to route prompts to the right tool when a workflow needs image generation, retouching, video enhancement, or audio-related output. meitu-skills organizes image, video, text, and audio capabilities into routed skills and uses meitu-tools as the execution entry point for meitu CLI commands.

How It Works

• Routing: effect commands point to meitu-tools/references/tools.yaml; built-in console commands for auth, account, api-key, and recharge are explicitly routed to meitu-tools.
• Coverage: includes skills such as text-to-image, text-to-video, image-edit, image-background-replace, image-cutout, image-superres-enhance, video-resolution-upscale, video-stitch, and video-to-gif.
• Task references: poster, product, ID photo, carousel, sticker, and 2D game asset skills include reference material such as prompts, specs, workflows, and constraints.
• Runtime baseline: the package recommends meitu-skills 2.0.7 with meitu-cli@2.1.7 to reduce command and parameter drift.

Boundaries

This is best suited to Agent workflows that treat the Meitu CLI as an execution engine and select a concrete skill per task. Do not assume every command available in meitu-cli is supported by this package; only the listed auth, account, api-key, and recharge commands plus the effect commands defined in tools.yaml are explicitly routed. Validate CLI version and tools.yaml before calling unlisted built-in commands.
