About this skill
Problem
Complex news, industry updates, and public-opinion events mix facts, opinions, sentiment, and positioning. Reading only headlines can mistake short-term moves for durable trends or package interested parties as neutral context. This skill treats the input as an auditable analysis object: it reconstructs the event chain, reverse-engineers the drivers, and maps the result into risks, opportunities, and decision conditions.
How It Works
The workflow follows deconstruction - reverse penetration - risk-opportunity mapping - decision support:
- Deconstruction: check 5W1H, event timeline, sources, and key relationship maps, then separate fact from narrative;
- Reverse penetration: examine short-, medium-, and long-term drivers, and identify surface causes, underlying causes, expectation gaps, information decay, and inflection points;
- Risk-opportunity map: translate findings into risk matrices, opportunity matrices, probability-impact analysis, and scenario tests;
- Decision support: output triggers, stop-loss/take-profit bounds, resource needs, timing windows, and confidence levels.
Boundaries
It does not replace professional due diligence or automatically produce actionable investment advice. When sources are missing, samples are thin, or the factual chain breaks, confidence should be lowered and inference marked. For price, valuation, and policy-effect claims, keep source checks and confidence ratings so emotional narratives are not treated as decision-grade evidence.
Use Cases
- After breaking industry news, split facts, sources, and relationships to assess short- and long-term impact
- Before a PR issue escalates, separate fact from opinion and output a risk matrix with stop-loss bounds
- When evaluating policy or sector events, trace short-, medium-, and long-term drivers, inflection points, and expectation gaps
- When reviewing market moves, convert news, data, and fund flows into a risk-opportunity map and decision conditions
Best For
- Sentiment analysts who need to separate fact from opinion and set response priority
- Industry researchers who need to convert news into short-, medium-, and long-term drivers
- Risk-oriented investment analysts who need risk matrices, inflection points, and confidence levels
- Strategy writers who need to consolidate multi-source input into auditable decision notes
