About this skill
The Problem
Supplier onboarding, competitor analysis, and due diligence often rely on fragmented registry data and anecdote. Teams need bidding evidence that shows real customers, suppliers, win history, and capacity, but manually searching announcements produces disconnected records that are hard to turn into defensible conclusions.
How It Works
Given a company name, the skill resolves the exact entity, then calls APIs such as search_company, get_company_profile, get_company_business_keywords, and get_company_partners to build a profile of core business, customer/supplier relationships, and bidding strength. It then uses find_competitors to infer competitors from bid overlap and WebSearch to supplement official-site signals, news, litigation, and administrative penalties. The output includes a conclusion card, cited records, an HTML report path, and entry points for two-company comparison or ongoing monitoring.
Boundaries and Caveats
This skill is best when the analysis object is a company, not a specific bid, lead, or announcement. All amounts, counts, and company names should come from API results, and missing data must be labeled as gaps. Auto-registration requires user consent, and contact details must respect account privacy tiers; masked numbers cannot be reconstructed.
Use Cases
- Before supplier onboarding, run a background check on a security-engineering firm to review its business, customers, suppliers, and recent bid wins.
- Evaluate competitors by comparing your company with a target firm on shared customers, regional coverage, and bidding records.
- Support risk and compliance review by summarizing public litigation, administrative penalties, and official-site or news signals with source links.
- Set up ongoing monitoring by turning a target company into a weekly prompt that reports only new bid wins and new customers.
Best For
- Procurement managers who evaluate supplier onboarding and need bidding evidence to judge a candidate company's delivery capability.
- Sales leaders who build competitive strategy and need to understand a target company's key customers, suppliers, and market position.
- Risk analysts who perform partnership due diligence and need to summarize public risks, litigation, and penalties with sources.
- Business-ops staff who track industry customers and need periodic updates on new bid wins and new customer relationships.
