About this skill

Problem

In procurement and bidding analysis, you often need answers like: what tenders did a company publish, who won, what historical unit prices did a brand or model trade at, and which recurring projects are nearing renewal. Public announcements, company profiles, and award records are scattered, and manual searches can miss fields or stages. This skill wraps China bidding-related API tools for structured queries around bid_process, match_modes, and keyword combinations.

How It Works

  • Bid search: search_bids filters by keyword, region, amount, and time; query_bids_advanced supports keyword_groups and exclude_keywords for queries that must satisfy multiple conditions.
  • Company analysis: search_company matches related entities, while get_company_profile, get_company_partners, and find_competitors support profiling, customer/supplier lookup, and bid-overlap competitor analysis.
  • Market and pricing: get_top_brands and get_price_trends query brand/model history and award prices, while aggregate_bids_advanced produces multidimensional statistics.
  • Key parameters: match_modes controls whether keywords match caller, winner, tender, or other fields; bid_process selects stages such as procurement intent, tender, award, and contract. A common default set is [1,2,4,7,8].
  • Invocation and errors: API keys are read from the environment or local config when available; responses such as RATE_LIMITED or INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE require checking quota, rate limits, or key source.

Boundaries

The skill is best for data covered by the API: tenders, awards, procurement intent, contracts, and expiring projects. It does not replace company websites, news, policy texts, or other web research. For trend and competitive analysis, use objective bid data first, then supplement it with reliable external sources. Advanced keyword logic requires the right tool and match fields; otherwise results may be too broad or too narrow.

Use Cases

  • Before bidding, identify a company's recent server procurement tenders by filtering caller-side announcements with the search tools.
  • Review historical award prices for a brand and model with get_price_trends and get_top_brands to inform a bid quote.
  • Find expiring recurring maintenance contracts using search_expiring_projects and prepare outreach for upcoming renewal windows.
  • Analyze competitor overlap with find_competitors and identify project categories where the same suppliers repeatedly compete.

Best For

  • Pre-sales engineers preparing bid proposals: filter recent tenders and awards by company, product, and amount.
  • Salespeople checking pricing: query historical award prices and top brands for specific models.
  • Business analysts doing client research: combine company profiles, partners, contacts, and competitors.
  • BD owners targeting renewals: find expiring recurring projects and evaluate potential suppliers.
