Problem

When writing articles for WeChat Official Accounts, covers often stall after the title is fixed: manual design is slow, and direct AI image generation with Chinese text can produce broken fonts, misaligned lines, or wrong aspect ratios. This skill breaks the cover into a more controllable pipeline: generate a clean background image first, then overlay the title with HTML Canvas, which suits engineers who need quick, upload-ready first or second article covers.

How It Works

• Parameter inference: extracts requirements from title, ratio, and style; if no style is provided, it infers visual direction from the title theme.
• Background generation: uses ImageGen with an English prompt and asks for clear space for text; for 2.35:1, it may generate 1280x720 and then crop to 1880x800.
• Cover compositing: loads assets/cover_generator.html, replaces placeholders for image, title lines, colors, and canvas size, then outputs a previewable HTML file.
• Delivery: opens a preview_url and provides both the composed HTML and the raw background image, so PNG/JPG can be downloaded in a browser.

Limits

This skill targets a “text cover + AI background” workflow rather than a full design system. Complex multi-column layouts, brand logos, or strict pixel-level font rules may need manual refinement; some ratios depend on API preset sizes and post-cropping.
