About this skill
The problem it solves
Sales or customer success teams often track legacy customer contacts across spreadsheets, chat threads, and individual manager memory. Owners may not have a clear view of contacted/not-contacted customers, opportunity amounts, and follow-up dates, while customer list imports, status filtering, and page-to-page updates are manually maintained. This skill targets that lightweight customer follow-up ledger workflow and generates a ready-to-use Web board rather than a general CRM.
How the skill works
It builds a single-file HTML/CSS/JavaScript application, stores data in browser localStorage, and uses the BroadcastChannel API for real-time synchronization across windows. Key capabilities include:
- Custom account managers: supports 1-10 managers, with editable names and independent theme colors.
- Bulk customer import: paste a customer name list copied from Excel and assign it to a target manager.
- Overview board: shows contacted, not contacted, opportunity count, opportunity amount, manager cards, and progress.
- Manager views: each manager has a separate page for adding, updating, and removing customers, grouped by contact status.
- Customer detail pool: filter by manager, follow-up status, usage status, opportunity status, customer name, and follow-up date.
- Export and backup: export filtered results as CSV and export/import full configuration.
Where it fits
It suits small teams tracking legacy customer contact, assigning managers, and building temporary boards. It is not intended for multi-tenant permissions, server-side collaboration, complex sales pipelines, or enterprise systems requiring audit logs. Because data mainly lives in the local browser, migrating to another device or browser may require exported configuration, and cross-window synchronization relies on BroadcastChannel API rather than a backend database.
Use Cases
- Consolidate three managers' legacy customer lists into one web board to review contacted status and opportunity amounts.
- Paste customer names from Excel, assign them to a manager, then filter by follow-up date and contact status.
- Open each manager's page, update follow-up status, opportunity amount, and notes, with cross-window sync.
- Export filtered customer details to CSV and back up the full configuration for migration to another browser.
Best For
- Customer success manager who wants personal legacy account lists turned into filterable web boards.
- Sales team lead who needs manager-level views of contacted, uncontacted, opportunity count, and amount.
- Operations support who imports Excel customer lists and assigns them to 1-10 managers.
- Customer success specialist who edits follow-up status across windows and exports CSV backups.
