What It Addresses
Shefu Hexagram Analysis turns Shefu guessing and simple divination-style questions into an inspectable analysis pipeline. Instead of returning a flat auspicious or inauspicious verdict, it breaks vague intent into intermediate states such as hexagram, moving yao, five phases, najia, and feature mappings, which is useful for demonstrating yixue rules, modeling hexagram features, or structured cultural play.
How It Works
The skill runs in staged steps:
- S1 casting: runs
python scripts/qigua.py --jsonto generate the base hexagram, upper trigram, lower trigram, moving yao, changed hexagram, and calendar fields; if calendar data is missing, it degrades by skipping month-jian weighting and the color system. - S3 analysis: reads
data/guaci_db.json,data/najia_table.json, the feature-library JSON file, andprofile.json, then applies the rules inshared/principles.mdfor five-phase generation/restriction, ti-yue assignment, and feature mapping. - S4 review: after each round,
python scripts/update_kb.pycan update the feature library or user profile, andrecords/stores Markdown notes with the hexagram, analysis result, and player judgment.
When data is missing, the skill degrades explicitly: without the feature library it falls back to pure hexagram analysis; without a profile it uses default weights; without guaci_db.json it stops and prompts. The design goal is to make hexagram interpretation a transparent, data-driven, and reviewable workflow.
Boundaries and Caveats
- Intended for cultural education and entertainment only, not for medical, financial, legal, investment, or other high-stakes decisions.
- It does not judge fortune or misfortune, and avoids conclusive wording such as “certain,” “inevitable,” or “great auspice.”
- Outputs are interpretive and speculative feature portraits; final judgment remains with the user.
