Problem

Early product teams often burn time on the same loop: is the pain real, can the business model capture revenue, and is the price justified by usage or value. This skill focuses on those structural gaps, including AI products where inference costs and Token-based pricing are easy to misjudge.

How It Works

It moves through four linked stages:
- Pain validation: checks urgency, willingness to pay, market size, reachability, and evidence strength.
- Model design: compares SaaS, freemium, transaction fees, memberships, and hardware-plus-service models, then extends to Agent-as-a-Service, outcome-based pricing, and B2B contract structures.
- Pricing and cost: uses RMB benchmarks, tiered pricing, competitor references, and unit economics to avoid selling more while losing money.
- PMF validation: scores retention, recommendation, and usage depth, then falls back to pain or model design when metrics are weak.

Limits

It is useful for commercial design, pricing review, and post-mortems, but it does not provide legal, tax, or equity advice, replace live market data, professional financial modeling, or final business decisions.
