BytePlan Data Visualization Video Report

Problem

After data analysis, results often remain in analysis_report.md or static HTML/PPT pages. Engineers need to turn the same analyzed artifacts into a deliverable video with a cover, charts, insights, summary, outro, and spoken narration. Building scenes, audio, and Remotion renders by hand is repetitive and easy to get wrong.

How It Works

byteplan-video treats existing analysis output as input and generates a data visualization video using a fixed template:
- Input check: expects prior output from byteplan-analysis, such as analysisPlan.json and analysis_report.md.
- Data parsing: reads scene titles, chart keys, insight bullets, and summary points from structures like video_data.json and chartData.json.
- Storyboard generation: produces cover, bar/line chart, insight, summary, and outro scene configurations.
- Voice synthesis: prefers node-edge-tts, with edge-tts as a fallback, and derives scene duration from narration audio.
- Video rendering: outputs MP4 with Remotion while keeping the dark gradient, card-based visual style.

Boundaries And Notes

This skill is not a general-purpose video generator. It packages existing analysis results into a standardized visualization flow. Required fields such as title, dataKey for chart scenes, highlights for insight scenes, and points for summary scenes must be provided explicitly. Missing fields cause rendering failures. Animation values, frame counts, SVG coordinates, and audio/video synchronization all depend on its Remotion conventions.
