Problem

When a long article, meeting note, or reference snippet needs to be turned into reusable knowledge, a generic “summarize this” prompt can produce vague output: key points are scattered, important terms are not surfaced, and topic classification feels inconsistent. Lobster Knowledge Butler targets this lightweight knowledge-management task. It breaks the workflow into explicit steps: original text, key points, keywords, summary, and simple Q&A, making the result easier to copy, archive, or feed into later processing.

How It Works and Limits

The skill is triggered by phrases such as summarize this article, extract key points, generate summary, or Lobster Butler. In the free experience edition, it covers five capabilities:

• Text summarization: extracts core points from an article, which helps quickly judge whether a source is worth saving.
• Keyword extraction: identifies key concepts and terms, returning up to 5 keywords per request.
• Content classification: assigns a basic topic label, useful for placing messy notes into an existing knowledge structure.
• Summary generation: produces a concise standard summary suitable for cards, notes, or retrieval snippets.
• Basic Q&A: answers simple questions from the summarized content using simple matching, not complex reasoning or cross-document analysis.

Its boundaries are explicit: 10 processing requests per day, up to 3000 characters per input, text-only export, and no history persistence; refreshed results are lost. If you need long-term knowledge bases, version comparison, PDF / Markdown export, collaboration, or synthesis across multiple documents, another workflow is required.
