About this skill

Problem

When several packages are in transit, tracking numbers, item names, addresses, and expected arrival times tend to be scattered across chats, order pages, and different platforms. It is easy to forget a pickup or confuse one delivery with another. Package Tracker compresses this into a lightweight conversational checklist: the user supplies the latest status, while the skill structures, sorts, and presents the information.

How It Works

It organizes the data around three kinds of fields:
- Basics: carrier, tracking number, item name, recipient or address, and expected arrival time
- Status: pending shipment, in transit, out for delivery, signed for
- Reminders: urgency, high-value items, pickup points, and in-person acceptance

The normal flow is to record each package first, then display entries sorted by status so that deliveries that are close or already out for delivery appear first. When details are incomplete, such as a missing carrier, an incomplete tracking number, or too many packages to remember, it gives practical prompts to fill in the information or contact the seller or courier.

Limits

It does not connect to courier systems, automatically push updates, collect or sign for packages, or handle returns, complaints, and international customs clearance. Records are scoped to the current conversation only, so sensitive addresses should be masked and high-value items should be verified during pickup.

Use Cases

  • Track several online orders by recording carrier, tracking number, item, and expected arrival time.
  • Consolidate packages from multiple marketplaces and highlight those out for delivery or soon to arrive.
  • Record a shipping notice with carrier, tracking number, high-value flag, and pickup point details.
  • Annotate multiple recipients or pickup addresses so the right delivery is not missed or misdelivered.

Best For

  • Individual consumers with several packages in transit who need a central list of tracking numbers and pickup reminders.
  • Administrative assistants handling multiple recipients who need addresses and pickup-point hours annotated per package.
  • Procurement staff with high-value deliveries who need special flags for in-person acceptance and sign-off records.
  • E-commerce operators who order across marketplaces and need packages sorted by shipping status.
