Problem It Addresses
Transcribed lectures, OCR output, and quick notes often contain filler, typos, duplicated fragments, and truncated lines. It is hard to separate core concepts, formulas, common mistakes, and extended material into a review-ready structure.
How It Works
note-knowledge cleans and restructures raw study material:
- Preprocessing: correct typos, grammar issues, and broken phrasing; remove repeated filler, blanks, and noise; recover key information where possible.
- Categorization: split content into definitions/core concepts, key formulas/important conclusions, common mistakes/cautions, and extended notes.
- Structuring: organize into level-one headings, second-level points, and annotations, adding logical connectors so the result reads like a clean study sheet.
- Review output: produce a quick-recall checklist, priority notes, a mind-map-friendly outline, and self-test questions with answers.
Limits
It fits student notes, class recordings, meeting knowledge cleanup, and exam review. It preserves the user's core meaning and does not delete key content arbitrarily, but it cannot invent missing derivations or facts. If the source is badly incomplete or lacks domain context, formulas, terms, and citations should still be checked manually.
