About this skill

The Problem

When preparing for the civil service aptitude exam, the bottleneck is often not a lack of questions, but the absence of module labels, difficulty levels, and verifiable explanations. In Data Analysis and Quantitative Relations, answers may be provided without calculation steps. In Judgment and Reasoning, figure patterns can feel arbitrary. In General Knowledge, outdated current affairs can create false confidence. This skill turns practice into structured inputs: module, question type, quantity, and difficulty, instead of generating a random question dump.

How It Works

It organizes practice around the five aptitude modules: General Knowledge, Language Understanding, Quantitative Relations, Judgment and Reasoning, and Data Analysis. Each module uses P0/P1/P2 tiers. For example, Data Analysis prioritizes growth rates and proportions, Quantitative Relations focuses on engineering, travel, and permutations/combinations, and Judgment and Reasoning emphasizes logical judgment and figure inference.

The workflow is: receive parameters, locate the test point, generate questions, self-check, output, and record mistakes. Each item includes type, module, difficulty, stem, options, answer, and explanation. Quantitative and Data Analysis questions require calculation or quick-calculation steps, while Data Analysis can start with a chart summary before answering. Quality constraints include self-consistent data, verifiable arithmetic, clear logical premises, and unambiguous options. A red-team/blue-team self-check flags calculation errors, over-stretched figure patterns, and outdated current affairs.

Scope And Limits

Use it for module-based aptitude practice, timed self-testing, and mistake review. It does not cover essay writing or recruitment policy. Current-affairs questions should follow the exam year in question, and it does not promise exam prediction. Mistakes are stored in local JSON files, and the skill relies on rules and local file operations rather than external calls.

Use Cases

  • Before aptitude practice, generate 10 P0 Data Analysis questions on growth rates and proportions with quick-calculation steps.
  • For weak judgment inference, generate 5 P0 logic and 5 P0 figure inference questions with pattern explanations.
  • During language practice, generate 5 logic-fill-in and 5 main-idea single-choice questions with distractor analysis.
  • For timed self-testing, generate 3 P0 questions per module and record mistakes to local mistakes.json.

Best For

  • Civil service exam candidates: module-based questions by difficulty with explanations and quick calculations.
  • Students weak in data analysis: chart summaries, questions, and verifiable quick-calculation steps.
  • Tutors or practice editors: batch P0 questions and local mistake tracking for review.
  • Working candidates doing timed self-tests: small multi-module sets with calculation checks.
