About this skill
Problem
Valuation research often requires assembling a peer set, pulling PE, PB, and EV/EBITDA multiples, and computing averages, medians, and percentiles. Manual work is repetitive and sensitive to sample scope, metric versions, and table structure.
How It Works
Wind Alice Comparable Company Analysis calls the Wind Alice Agent through a CLI. The host Agent only needs to combine the target company and focus areas into a natural-language prompt and pass it via --prompt; the CLI handles authentication, task polling, result return, and file downloads. The skill screens comparable companies by industry classification, core business, market capitalization, and other dimensions, then outputs operating metrics, valuation multiples, statistical benchmarks, and sub-industry comparisons. Typical output includes core conclusions, valuation positioning, operating metric comparisons, valuation multiple comparisons, and statistical benchmarks, plus an Excel workbook.
Boundaries
- Supports listed companies in A-shares, HKEX, and US markets, not private entities.
- Each CLI call defaults to a fresh session; add
--continue-sessionwhen the user follows up on a prior analysis. - Downloaded report attachments are for local reference; delivery should prioritize
agentResult.valuerather than pasting attachment content. - Modules with limited data are explicitly marked, so conclusions should still be validated against filings, consensus estimates, and business assumptions.
Use Cases
- In equity research, screen peers for CATL and compare PE, EV/EBITDA, and gross margins.
- In M&A valuation, use peer mean, median, and percentiles to support a pricing range.
- Before IPO pricing, compare sector valuation bands and historical percentiles to support the offer price.
- In portfolio review, check holdings' valuation deviation versus industry peers and export an Excel table.
Best For
- Equity researchers: need quick peer valuation multiple comparisons for listed companies
- M&A analysts: need comparable company benchmarks to support transaction pricing
- IPO underwriting teams: need sector valuation bands to inform offer pricing
- Portfolio managers: need to check valuation deviation of holdings versus industry peers
