About this skill
Problem
Transparent projection is not just projector selection. In glass showcases, retail displays, and vehicle-mounted directional displays, ambient light, image area, film gain, viewing angle, and throw distance all affect visible brightness. Manual selection can understate lumen demand or leave the image too dim under strong ambient light.
How It Works
This skill focuses on nanoAR transparent projection film and projector planning, using a fixed SOP:
- Image size: confirm width and height, or infer from a 16:9 ratio when needed;
- Lumen demand: calculate P_lux = ambient lux × 10 and Lm = P_lux × S, then round up to the nearest 500lm step;
- Screen brightness: use A, B, and C series film gain, transmittance, and viewing angle, then calculate B_nit = P_lux × G / π;
- Output: recommend film type, projector, system cost, throw distance, and installation notes.
When a quote is requested, it can fill project information, film materials, and equipment into a quote template, with the quote date defaulting to the execution day and validity to 30 days. It is better suited for early-stage commercial displays, retail windows, and directional installations, helping align formulas, film specs, and projector parameters in one planning sheet.
Limits
By default, the skill uses theoretical values and does not add engineering margin unless explicitly requested. For structural loading, power, cooling, polarized-light conditions, or on-site calibration, actual site engineering data should still be used.
Use Cases
- In a mall window project, calculate lumen demand, screen nits, and recommend film type from glass size and ambient light.
- When planning a transparent display cabinet, compare gain, transmittance, viewing angle, and use cases of A, B, and C films.
- When quoting a distributor, verify A/B tier supply prices, deposits, upfront orders, and project protection periods.
- After a customer requests a quote, fill the template with film model, area, unit price, projector model, brightness, and unit price.
Best For
- Systems integration engineers selecting transparent projection for windows or cabinets, who need quick lumen, nit, and throw-distance checks.
- Solution sales staff quoting transparent display projects, who need workable equipment plans based on ambient light and film type.
- Channel distributors or regional agents, who need to verify supply prices, deposits, orders, and project protection terms.
- Product engineers for retail displays or vehicle-mounted directional displays, who need high-gain film, narrow-angle, and projector matching.
