About this skill
Problem It Addresses
Study sessions often fail not because of unclear goals, but because time is fragmented, focus duration is arbitrary, and completion is not reviewed. It helps turn a study intention into structured focus blocks with a clear rhythm.
How It Works
The skill follows a plan-execute-review workflow:
- Requirement check: asks for subject, target duration, realistic focus capacity, and environment.
- Plan generation: distributes Pomodoro blocks using
25+5or50+10focus-break ratios and labels each block with a concrete task. - Logging and review: after the user manually reports completion, it tracks time, estimates completion rate, and suggests adjustments.
It does not provide background countdowns, screen locking, or automatic detection; its value is converting vague “study a bit” into an executable schedule.
Boundaries
Best for short-term study planning, Pomodoro scheduling, and focus review. Less suitable for real-time reminders, forced device lockdown, or long-term analytics. For goals over 5 hours, split the session across morning and afternoon with a long break.
Use Cases
- Students preparing for exams want to split 4 hours of review into eight Pomodoro blocks with subjects and breaks assigned.
- Self-study users want to plan one session around a 25+5 rhythm and report completion to log study time.
- Tutors need a study plan template that assigns subjects, focus capacity, and long breaks.
- Focus reviewers want to analyze completion rate from manual reports and get task-split or pacing suggestions.
Best For
- Exam students who need to split multi-subject review into actionable Pomodoro blocks and manually review completion rate.
- Tutors or study coaches who need a study plan template with tasks and break nodes for each focus block.
- Self-study planners who want to arrange one goal into a 25+5 or 50+10 rhythm and get distraction-control tips.
- Focus trainers who want to summarize manual completion logs into time totals and adjust task granularity when distracted.
