How It Works
CrossComply Check takes product category + destination market as input and returns a structured compliance checklist. It covers 8 product categories: baby, electronics, beauty, food, toys, clothing, home, and AI tools; and 8 markets: US, GB, DE, EE, SG, JP, AU, and HK. Key steps include parsing the category and destination, querying references/compliance-data.md, and outputting requirements across certifications, labels, packaging, testing, and restrictions. Each item can be marked as mandatory, conditional, or voluntary, with regulator, effective date, and last verified date. If the user already has CE, FCC, or similar assets, it matches them and updates the compliance score; it can also compare multiple markets and output remaining tasks plus nextActions, helping teams prioritize the highest clearance-risk items.
Boundaries
This is useful for rapid pre-checks and knowledge organization, but it is not legal advice. Regulations change, so entries older than 12 months should be verified manually. Current coverage is limited to 8 categories × 8 markets; special categories, smaller-language markets, or platform-specific rules should be confirmed with advisors and platform requirements.
