About this skill

Problem it solves

Creators often know their niche but still lack concrete video ideas. A bare topic list is not enough: without angle, audience, format, and platform fit, it is hard to shoot. This skill turns topic discovery into a structured shortlist: given a niche or field and target platform, it returns 5–10 candidate ideas with angle, title preview, target audience, format suggestions, and a five-dimension score. For content teams, it reduces ad hoc ideation and turns raw inspiration into comparable options.

How it works

It parses the request, asks for missing niche or platform, and applies built-in frameworks such as pain-point mining, trend riding, data-driven insights, emotional resonance, trend forecasting, and competitor contrast. It cross-generates ideas from at least three frameworks to reduce homogeneous output, then scores each idea by demand, virality, differentiation, feasibility, and longevity. Platform bias is adjusted for Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, WeChat Channels, and YouTube.

Boundaries

It is best for topic discovery, candidate prioritization, and light scheduling hints. It does not write full scripts, voiceover lines, finished titles, account strategy, data reviews, or long-form articles. Scores are used to distinguish priority; hot-topic ideas need timeliness notes, while evergreen ideas are safer for later production.

Use Cases

  • A short-video editor receives a Xiaohongshu food-content task and needs eight shootable topic candidates ranked by priority and suitability.
  • A content operator prepares a monthly plan and needs weekly groups of topic candidates with clear theme directions for the niche.
  • A cross-platform creator compares Douyin and Bilibili preferences for the same niche and needs two adapted topic sets for shooting.
  • A beginner calligraphy creator lacks ideas and needs easy-to-shoot tutorial, story, and challenge candidates covering different formats.

Best For

  • Short-video editors who need a niche brief turned into ranked, shootable topic candidates.
  • Content operators who need weekly topic planning with hot and evergreen ideas separated.
  • Solo creators who need platform-specific topic directions for a given niche.
  • MCN or agency editors who need a diverse topic pool with priorities and angles.
