About this skill
Problem: Why AI writing feels generic
For WeChat, Zhihu, Xiaohongshu, and similar channels, the issue is rarely length. It is plausibility: models often produce polite, balanced, repetitive summaries without firsthand evidence, concrete data, or answers that search engines and LLMs can cite. This skill reframes the goal from “producing content” to information gain: decide what new cognition, emotional resonance, or professional talking point the reader receives, then shape structure and tone around that.
How it works
- Value-first audit: check whether
IG > 0, meaning the post contains at least one insight that would not be obvious without the source material. - Readable structure: open with a 150-word hook, keep paragraphs to 3–4 sentences, and use bolding, lists, and block quotes for scanability.
- SEO/GEO alignment: target real query intent such as “how to…” and include a concise
Q&Asection for generative search. - Platform localization: adapt formatting, tone, and trust signals for WeChat, Zhihu, Xiaohongshu, or English platforms.
- Workflow: extract tacit knowledge through interview, persist it in
idea.md, ingest source material, distill conclusions, draft, and audit before publishing.
Boundaries
It works best when the author has cases, data, product experience, or verifiable sources. If facts and evidence are missing, it can structure the argument but cannot manufacture credibility.
Use Cases
- A WeChat writer turns an agent-tool review into a mobile-friendly post with a 150-word hook, short paragraphs, bold insights, and an install CTA.
- An indie developer converts changelog and issue discussions into a Zhihu deep dive, adding a Q&A section for AI search citations.
- A product marketer localizes a Medium article for Xiaohongshu with stronger titles, emoji, short bullets, and an engagement question.
- A technical marketer drafts a WeChat long read from internal research notes, extracting three insights, adding sources and a closed-loop CTA.
Best For
- A tech-buzzwriter for WeChat: turn agent-tool reviews into posts with a 150-word hook, short paragraphs, and a strong install CTA.
- An indie developer: turn changelogs, issue threads, and hands-on notes into a Zhihu deep dive with AI-searchable Q&A.
- A product marketer: localize Medium posts for Xiaohongshu with stronger titles, emoji, and short interactive bullets.
- A technical marketing lead: convert internal research notes into publishable WeChat long reads with sources, insights, and a CTA.
