About this skill
Problem It Solves
Sales review often has a concrete difficulty: separating useful judgment from surface talk in a customer conversation, visit note, or study log. People may treat the customer's stated request as the real need, read polite agreement as progress, or repeat product features without identifying risks, incentives, and commitment. This Skill applies the red-and-blue annotation method from a sales coaching handbook to help analysts reread a topic from the customer's interests, perception, concerns, and action conditions.
How It Works
Input can include a sales topic, black-text notes, customer scenario, review content, or study question. The Skill first classifies the topic, such as needs discovery, objection handling, trust building, or action commitment, then extracts the core meaning. Depending on task_type, it explains or generates red text and blue text. Red text focuses on conclusions, principles, cognitive corrections, and underlying logic; blue text focuses on follow-up questions, action supplements, and execution breakdowns. If only a topic or body text is provided, it first derives the core judgment, then produces red/blue content, action advice, and common mistakes.
Limits
It fits sales topic analysis, scenario review, study-note cleanup, and red/blue content generation, especially for turning scattered records into a discussable sales card. It is not a CRM, and it does not replace customer interviews. Output quality still depends on whether the input contains real scenarios, customer reactions, and key objections. For complex B2B deals, the result still needs calibration with product, organization, and decision-chain facts.
Use Cases
- Before a sales huddle, turn yesterday's call notes into red conclusions and blue follow-ups for team review.
- Review a customer saying “too expensive” by generating need-validation questions and commitment checks.
- Convert black-text training notes into practice cards that simulate customer-perspective questioning.
- Label a scenario as objection handling or trust building, then surface common mistakes and next actions.
Best For
- Sales reps preparing a morning huddle: split call notes into red conclusions and blue follow-up questions.
- Sales leaders coaching new hires: generate review questions to test whether notes stay stuck on product pitch.
- Learners organizing training notes: turn black text into red-blue cards for key principles and practice questions.
- Sales operations owners running reviews: tag customer themes and mistakes, then draft next-step actions.
