Problem

This skill targets a common PPT rework loop: the content is ready, but the deck feels rushed, crowded, or visually inconsistent. Typical symptoms include dense text, weak color choices, unclear typography hierarchy, and charts that look like raw data dumps. Instead of adding decorative effects, it breaks visual issues into actionable checks: where to add whitespace, where to align margins, which color should carry emphasis, and which chart lines should be removed.

How it works

It organizes work around four capabilities: color scheme, layout grid, typography hierarchy, and chart cleanup.

• Color scheme: define the visual tone from the deck’s purpose, then output primary, secondary, and accent colors. Keep primary colors to three or fewer so the palette does not become scattered.
• Layout grid: use alignment, whitespace, and grid structure to constrain element placement, which helps when every element feels important but the page looks noisy.
• Typography hierarchy: split text into title, body, and note levels. Limit the font family count to two where possible to reduce visual fragmentation.
• Chart cleanup: remove unnecessary gridlines and visual noise, then emphasize the data points that actually support the conclusion.

The workflow is straightforward: define the style, assign the palette, build the layout, tune typography, and clean the charts. The outputs include a beautification plan and a per-page optimization checklist, making it easier to apply changes directly.

Boundaries

Use this for improving existing decks that already have content, not for replacing original design or generating copyrighted images, fonts, or templates. For business presentations, brand guidelines and legal requirements still apply; visual assets should come from commercially licensed sources. Finally, beautification should not mask key data: if the underlying numbers are inaccurate or missing, visual cleanup can make the problem harder to detect.
