About this skill
Use Case
Before initiating coverage, tracking developments, or preparing for management meetings, investment teams need a clear research framework for a listed company: the core bull case, key risks, assumptions to test, and the questions to ask. alice-stock-dd-list creates a buyer-side research question list for A-shares, HK-listed, US-listed, and other major global markets, rather than a generic company overview.
How It Works
Required input: a company name or ticker, such as BYD or 002594.SZ; optional focus can be added, such as “overseas expansion” or “cash flow quality.” The skill assembles the company and focus into a natural-language prompt for the Wind Alice Agent. The output usually includes:
- Core view summary: bull logic and key risks based on Wind terminal, filings, research reports, and news; data constraints are explicitly marked.
- 3 to 5 deep-dive themes: financial performance and earnings quality, competitive landscape, growth drivers, capital operations, and risks versus market expectations.
- Management questions: used before interviews to validate or falsify the investment thesis.
Boundaries and Notes
This is a research-preparation tool, not buy/sell advice. It relies on Wind Alice output and does not invent data. Without a company name or ticker, it cannot start; when no focus is specified, it defaults to a broad research framework.
Use Cases
- Before initiating A-share coverage, build a pre-meeting framework with bull logic, key risks, and 3-5 deep-dive themes.
- When tracking a new-energy company’s overseas business, generate management questions on capacity, customers, and channels.
- Before an IC discussion, organize a HK-listed company’s financial quality, competitive position, and expectation gaps into testable questions.
- For M&A, restructuring, or earnings anomalies, extract core conflicts, risks, and questions that can falsify the investment thesis.
Best For
- Buy-side analysts preparing initial coverage and needing core bull logic and falsifiable questions before management interviews.
- Research staff tracking portfolio company events and needing to turn filings and earnings changes into follow-up questions.
- Fund managers preparing IC materials and needing structured bull/bear logic with key risks for a single stock.
- Due-diligence advisors or analysts listing questions on financials, competition, capital actions, and shareholder returns.
