Handing raw technical docs to an attorney often leads to vague "distinguishing technical features," missing causal links in beneficial effects, or subject matter eligibility risks in software/AI domains. This skill uses conversational guidance to transform an inventor's brain-dump into a structured disclosure, filling in the logical loops that attorneys value most.

Core Capabilities & Key Steps

• Source Material Ingestion: Prioritizes PPTs, design docs, or papers. Uses markitdown-skill or OCR tools to extract text and pre-fill the official template. It only asks questions about the gaps, avoiding zero-to-one dictation.
• Phased Deep-Dive Dialogue: Strictly follows interview_playbook.md, moving from ice-breaking to pain points and technical solutions. For software/AI, it enforces a "subject matter/technicality self-check" to anchor "technical problem—technical means—technical effect."
• Distinguishing Features & Causal Links: Actively probes for differences over the prior art and requires beneficial effects to map to specific changes, refusing to just describe a "good product."
• Text-Image Integration & Fallback Generation: Actively collects diagrams and maps them to chapters; if the inventor lacks diagrams, it calls gen_diagram.py to generate architecture or flowchart drafts, marking them as "Schematic for review."
• Word Delivery: Uses build_docx.py to strictly rebuild the document according to the official template, automatically handling typography, figure numbering, and the footer feedback block.
