About this skill

Problem

In bid workflows, tender clauses, scoring rules, disqualification red lines, and package structures are scattered across PDF/Word documents. Manual review can miss critical requirements; drafting a bid requires repeated rework of technical and commercial content, tables, and page layout; and pre-submission checks still need to compare the bid against the tender and detect duplicated content. This skill connects those steps into a conversational workflow, using the assistant backend to call the Bailian® Bid open API for interpretation, generation, and compliance review.

How It Works and Limits

  • Tender interpretation: Provide a tender file as tender.pdf/.doc/.docx; the skill returns structured notes on project information, qualification items, disqualification red lines, scoring criteria, commercial terms, and more, with an exportable HTML/Word report.
  • Bid drafting: Based on the interpreted project, select a package and target page count to generate a .docx bid document. It fills standard templates where possible and leaves uncertain values as “to-fill” location bookmarks.
  • Compliance review: Input the interpreted tender plus one or more bid documents to get a risk list of high-risk, needs-review, and notice items, each with tender evidence, bid evidence, and revision suggestions; multiple files also trigger similarity checks.

Notes: an App Key is required, and production keys must be obtained from the official site; bid generation consumes credits and may take more than 10 minutes; interpretation, generation, and review outputs include absolute file paths for later editing and re-review.

Use Cases

  • Bid leads review a new tender to identify disqualification red lines, scoring criteria, and participation value.
  • Bid specialists generate an editable .docx draft from an interpreted project, package, and target page count.
  • Before submission, check one or multiple bid documents for red-line risks and similarity between files.
  • Business managers assess generic bidding notes from a tender fragment, then provide a file path for tailored analysis.

Best For

  • Business owners managing bids who need quick checks of qualifications, scoring, and bidding risks.
  • Bid specialists drafting technical/commercial sections who need a structured editable draft from tender analysis.
  • Procurement managers doing pre-submission review who need red-line risks and file similarity checks.
  • Procurement advisors handling generic bidding questions who need tailored advice tied to tender files.
