DeAI Editor for Authentic AI Drafts

Problem

AI drafts can be useful, but they often sound generic. They rely on filler phrases such as “Note that” and “In summary,” repeat similar sentence rhythms, and avoid colloquial language, rhetorical questions, or personal judgment. DeAI addresses this editing gap: it revises an existing AI draft toward a more authentic author voice instead of generating new content.

How It Works

It is a prompt-based text editing tool. Give prompt.md to any AI, then paste the draft with the DeAI: prefix. You can add a target platform, for example target: WeChat. The tool handles three layers: it removes common filler phrases in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean; applies more natural voice markers; and suggests platform-appropriate style changes, asking for confirmation before applying platform-specific rules. The output uses [💬] markers to show where you should insert your own expressions. It does not access files, make network requests, run automatically, or verify factual accuracy.

Boundaries

It fits engineers, technical writers, and editors who already have a draft and want to reduce an “AI-like” tone. It is not a substitute for original authorship, undisclosed AI-assisted academic work, or factual review. For research, legal, or compliance-sensitive writing, you remain responsible for sources, disclosure, and final accuracy.
