About this skill

What It Addresses

After a meeting, the raw material is often a transcript, scattered notes, or chat snippets: repetitive, hard to follow, with unclear speakers and action items buried in discussion. Structuring it manually requires repeatedly reviewing context to identify decisions, owners, and deadlines. This skill organizes that material into structured minutes and reduces the work of turning discussion into an executable checklist.

How It Works

It accepts meeting transcripts, handwritten points, chat records, or spoken summaries, then splits the content by topic. It removes filler and repetition, extracts context, discussion points, and conclusions, and marks unresolved disagreements. For action items, it identifies tasks, matches owners, notes deadlines, and produces a follow-up checklist.

Common outputs include:
- Structured minutes: organized as topic → discussion → conclusion
- Action items: with tasks, owners, and deadlines
- Open questions: items that need the next meeting
- Versions: summary, detailed, or email-ready

For recurring meetings, it can update status from previous action items, forming a chain of previous tasks → progress → new tasks.

Boundaries

This skill is for organizing existing meeting content, not for scheduling, calendar management, or agenda design. Transcripts may contain recognition errors, and names or terms need human confirmation. It records meeting conclusions faithfully rather than judging their quality. Confidential or sensitive content should be shared carefully and anonymized where necessary.

Use Cases

  • Turn a messy voice transcript into topics, decisions, and open questions.
  • Convert scattered meeting notes into formal minutes with discussions and action items.
  • Extract action items with owners, deadlines, and unresolved follow-ups.
  • Update recurring meeting to-dos and list progress plus new tasks.

Best For

  • Project managers who turn post-meeting transcripts into shareable minutes
  • Ops owners who split recurring meeting discussions into tasks and owners
  • Sales reps who need customer meeting summaries in brief, detailed, or email form
  • Product managers who track recurring open questions and new action items
