About this skill
Problem Being Solved
Amazon’s new title rules for non-media categories compress titles to 75 characters, while legacy listings often rely on keyword stuffing: repeated terms like wireless / bluetooth / earbuds, plus free shipping or best quality. This format is brittle under truncation and AI rewriting, and it may miss the user intent behind search. This skill shifts optimization from keyword coverage to semantic scenario matching, while using the 125-character item highlights field to expand coverage.
How It Works
It first collects required inputs: current title, category, core selling points, target audience, use cases, brand, and compatibility. It then generates a prioritized title: brand, core product noun, strongest attribute, and high-value scenario or audience term. It avoids promotional phrases, subjective adjectives, duplicate synonyms, special symbols, and variable details such as pack size or model number.
Generated titles aim to cover COSMO-style semantic relations, such as for pet hair, for office, for breastfeeding, or compatible with Dyson V11. Industry-specific rules also apply: consumer electronics prioritize battery life, compatibility, and waterproofing; home goods prioritize dimensions, material, and load capacity; apparel prioritizes fit, audience, and season. Batch runs can be grouped by P0/P1/P2/P3 priority and include original character count, new character count, and compliance status.
Boundaries And Caveats
This skill is for Amazon sellers who need title and highlight rewrites; it does not replace full listing compliance review. Sellers remain responsible for trademarks, product claims, and category rules, and no ranking or sales guarantee is included. Before publishing, confirm the final wording in Seller Central and prioritize high-volume ASINs and key ad listings.
Use Cases
- Sellers compress top earbud listings to 75 characters and add a 125-character highlight before the July 27 rule.
- Operators batch-generate titles from a SKU list, grouping by category and flagging character count and compliance.
- Category managers write baby-product titles that cover age, material safety, and baby-shower scenario terms.
- Ad buyers remove promo words, duplicate synonyms, and symbols from key ASIN titles for compliant semantic wording.
Best For
- Amazon sellers rewriting listing copy to reorder selling points within character limits.
- Operations staff processing many SKU titles weekly and outputting Excel compliance notes.
- Category managers maintaining keywords and scenario terms to match COSMO-style semantic matching.
- Ad buyers cleaning banned words and duplicate terms from key ASINs before boosting campaigns.
