About this skill

Problem It Solves

An Amazon listing is not just a keyword bag: titles can drift into marketing slogans, bullets can repeat the same long-tail words, backend search terms can exceed byte limits or miss spelling variants, and phrases like Velcro or Teflon can create trademark risk. This skill turns Amazon A9 listing optimization into an executable SOP for engineers and operators: benchmark competitors, extract PDP fields, review signals, and category clues, then produce a Title, Bullets, and Backend Search Terms draft that can be pasted into Seller Central.

How It Works

  • Fast tier: the default path. It selects non-sponsored top ASINs and fetches benchmark PDPs concurrently. Core fields come from title, features[], productDescription[], bestSellersRankItems[], and aiReviewsSummary. It resolves leaf category IDs from BSR links, checks whether the product is a consumable/repurchase category, optionally adds one page of critical reviews, and outputs a 5-part listing draft.
  • Full tier: triggered when the user asks for deep, complete, IP, or external VOC work. It can add Rufus intent from search_amazon_alexa, external pain points from ai_search, design/trademark risk checks with wipo_search, and a text-trademark pre-screen, turning Bullet 2 from summary-derived copy into a more direct answer to buyer questions.
  • Copy rules: titles stay under the 200-character hard limit, bullets stay in the 180–250-character range, backend search terms stay under the 249-byte limit, and the draft prioritizes deduplication, long-tail terms, spelling variants, and Spanish terms for the US market.

Boundaries and Cautions

It defaults to the US marketplace and keeps listing copy in the target market language, typically English. It relies on hard data returned by the Pangolinfo MCP; missing fields are marked as partial warnings instead of inventing sales, reviews, or rankings. Slow calls and trademark checks require a budget check first, and scrape concurrency is usually capped at two per round by backend QPS limits. It is not a formal legal clearance service and does not guarantee keyword ranking.

Use Cases

  • Launching wireless earbuds in the US and needing a copy-ready listing draft from top non-sponsored ASINs, bullets, and critical review summaries.
  • Preparing US backend search terms that dedupe long-tail variants, spelling variants, and Spanish terms within the 249-byte limit.
  • Reviewing title drafts before publishing to flag terms like Velcro or Teflon and suggest safer replacements based on trademark risk.
  • Running a deep VOC pass to cluster Rufus questions, external complaints, and competitor reviews into top pain points for Bullet 2.

Best For

  • Amazon US operations owners launching new products who need paste-ready title, bullet, and backend search term drafts.
  • Listing copywriters doing competitor teardowns who need to extract selling points from benchmark ASINs, review summaries, and BSR category clues.
  • Seller teams focused on IP risk who need pre-publication checks for brand terms, trademark phrases, and high-risk wording.
  • Operations engineers integrating MCP tools who need a structured SOP with budget, concurrency, and missing-field handling.
